Arches and Canyonlands National Parks provide unusual land forms complimented with rich colors and delicate textures, making them the embodiment of the vision for the American Southwest landscape.
In addition to making some great photographs, we’ll also take time to work on the fundamentals of lighting, composition, depth-of-field, selective focus and perspective. Towering arches and dense shadows provide the perfect opportunity to learn HDR techniques.
You will have an opportunity to work with infinite depth-of-field, perspective correction and shift panoramas using tilt/shift lenses. There will be numerous lenses available to use, including fish-eye, super wides, macro, telephoto and tilt-shift. There will also be a limited number of loaner cameras available from Canon.
Every day will be intensive. We’ll photograph non-stop and well into the night shooting star fields, star trails and experiment with time-lapse.
Take advantage of this unique opportunity.
