Herbert Keppler, one of the most influenctial and respected figures in the photographic industry, died on Friday night at the age of 82. Keppler was the former publisher of two of the biggest photography magazines in the world: Modern Photography and Popular Photography. His career spanned more than 50 years and he made many changes to the photographic and mail order industries that will be remembered long after his passing.
He will be truly missed in our industry.
