David Cleland (www.flixelpix.com) is a landscape and reportage photographer based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He is best known for his landscape and documentary photography, which has been featured in a number of photographic exhibitions. David also teaches film and animation applying the rules of still photography to the art of moving image. David’s work has been accepted by Getty Images and been published in a number of national publications and used in numerous book covers.
We asked David to talk with us about The Long Exposure Photography e-book he just published, which features phenomenal images all taken with his FujiFilm X-Pro1.
Long exposure photography is about capturing space and silence, like visually holding your breath; it is about capturing the beauty and calmness of a scene.
Every week I receive two to three emails asking about the best way to capture long exposure landscape images and so I’ve decided to create a guide to creating ‘The Long Exposure’ landscape. I have aptly entitled it "The Long Exposure Photography eBook" and it gives a complete beginners guide on getting started with capturing long exposure images.
