1. Robert J. Hill | North Florida / International
About Robert
My name is Robert and I love to travel. I have been blessed with an amazing wife who loves to travel as well, and together we get to explore the world, meet amazing people, and shoot incredible weddings. We are currently based in North Florida, but will be leaving this coming June for a World Photo Tour where we will be traveling to Asia, Europe, and across the United States to shoot weddings, hang out with other photographers, see old and new clients, and book sessions/more weddings along the way! We are incredibly excited for what lies ahead!
Why Are You a Wedding Photographer?
I have shot all kinds of photography throughout the past 10 years (landscape, commercial, portraits, etc.) and capturing couples and helping tell their story has impacted me the most. I love wedding photography because there’s no other line of photography that allows you to connect with people and spend as much time with someone as you can with this. I have a year if not more to get to know my clients and help fulfill their vision and tell their story and I don’t believe it gets better than that. I love people and having the opportunity to capture the biggest day of their life is huge! I’m incredibly grateful for what I get to do every week and for the couples I get to work with.

2. Katie Stoops | Virginia / Travels extensively
About Katie
I am from Virginia, but have been so fortunate to travel the world photographing love. I approach every wedding with a softness and unobtrusiveness because I feel that the more comfortable you are, the more of you I am able to capture. I still use a lot of film in my work—it creates the most beautiful moments and nothing compares to the timelessness of a film shot. My work can be seen in Martha Stewart Weddings, PDN, Southern Living, Southern Weddings, Style Me Pretty, Snippet & Ink, etc.
Why Are You a Wedding Photographer?
I love photographing weddings because every single wedding keeps me inspired. I am always challenged at such a dynamic and fast paced event. As a creative person, I thrive in those situations. Despite the term, "wedding" is all encompassing for the day when two people join their lives together. Each wedding is always different than the one I photograph before or after it. I love that! I also really love that not just the couple, but also their families are so welcoming to me as I document such an important day in their lives. Wedding photography is incredibly different from studio photography in the aspect that everything around is constantly changing from the type of light, direction of light, shifting locations in a heartbeat, etc. You aren't photographing something in a controlled environment and it can be insanely stressful, but at the end of the day, it feels as though you climbed the highest mountain.
Favorite Quote About Love
"I crave you in the most innocent form. I crave to say good night and give you forehead kisses and to say that I adore you when you feel at your worst. I crave you in ways where I just want to be next to you and nothing more or less." - Unknown
3. Mandi Nelson | Salt Lake City, Utah
About Mandi
Hi, I'm Mandi Nelson—a happy-spirited, easy-going, creative, and fun-loving lady from the Golden State. I'm a simple liver, floral lover, and firm believer in Christ. I studied floral design, then interior design, but landed in photography because it seemed all I was doing was photographing the pretty flowers and spaces. I enjoy capturing memories through my lens with my biggest blessing, my husband, by my side. My happiness comes from being loved, and loving others.
Why Are You a Wedding Photographer?
I‘ve always known I wanted to be a wedding photographer. There is something beautiful about two people choosing to love each other despite their flaws and deciding they want to spend the rest of their lives together. I am lucky enough to photograph those moments of when they first fell in love. I hope that when they see the photos now, and down the road that it will bring back those emotions and remind them of when and why they first fell in love.

Why Are You a Wedding Photographer?
Weddings are something I fell into while studying photography at an art school in Seattle. At the time, I was pursuing a career in photojournalism. I was photographing weddings to earn money while interning for local newspapers and it eventually became a full-time job. Today, I love shooting weddings. I feel honored to be a part of the celebration.
