It's sleek design, image-making technology, and functionality make it an ideal camera for both the beginner and professional photographer. The X-T30 contains many of the same key features as the X-T3 but for a more affordable price, starting at $899.

1. Advanced Image Sensor Technology
The X-T30 offers the same back-illuminated 26.1-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 4 image processing engine as the X-T3, resulting in the same incredible image quality and processing speed. Not only that but it comes in a more compact and lightweight body, weighing only 13.5 ounces which is 5 ounces less than the X-T3.
2. Accurate Auto-Focus Tracking and Face Detection
Fujifilm increased the number of AF phase detecting pixels to 2.16 million and now there are six AF modes available—"Single Point AF," "Zone AF," and "Wide / Tracking AF" which can be used in either AF-S or AF-C modes. The X-T30 has both a mechanical and electronic shutter. When using the mechanical, it can shoot continuously at 8fps in full resolution. With the electronic shutter, you can shoot at 16.6 megapixels, 1.25x crop, and blackout-free continuous shooting at 30fps.
The Face and Eye detection AF accuracy have nearly doubled compared to previous models like the X-T20. You can now have better tracking from the side or while the subject is moving. In addition, if there are multiple people in a frame, you can choose which face to focus on which is beneficial when taking photos in a crowd or at a sporting event.
3. Superior Video and Image Effects
The X-T30 is capable of producing 4K video and 4K DCI (17:9), an industry standard. Now F-log recording with 4:2:2 10-bit can be captured through the HDMI port. Face and Eye-Detection AF can be used when recording video by using the touchscreen panel or the Focus Lever and Film Simulations can also be used when capturing 4K video.
4. Color Reproduction
There are 16 Film Simulation modes to choose from that resonate with Fujifilm's style. There are also special effects that can be used in combination with the film simulation modes such as Color Chrome Effect, Monochrome Adjustment, and the Gain Effect.
5. Intuitive Design with Comfortable Controls
As we already mentioned, the X-T30 is a great compact and lightweight camera. It also offers a convenient touch-screen and built-in flash. It even comes with the same focus point selector joystick as the X-T3 and offers a wide range of shooting modes—Manual, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Program, and Advanced SR Auto.

The X-T30 has an electronic viewfinder that is slightly larger compared to the average DLSR viewfinder. It also features 2.36-million-dot high resolution and a magnification ratio of 0.62x. Its 3.0-inch tilting touchscreen is optimal for low angels or hard-to-get shots. The grip thickness has also increased for easy handling.
7. Wireless Connectivity
Last but not least, the X-T30 provides a wireless connection through Bluetooth that can be paired with a smart device.
