Both have the option of attaching optional Halo bar lights that can magnetically attach to the sides or bottom of the studio to help enhance lighting conditions. Recently, a customer came in looking to buy the Foldio3. She was a small business owner who made and sold her own jewelry. She decided to get both the Foldio3 and the Halo bar lights to create a bright space and gain more flexibility in her photos.
If you are looking to create 360-degree images of your products, the Foldio360 smart turntable interlock system does exactly that. The Foldio360 turntable uses Bluetooth and IR sensors to connect with either your smartphone or DSLR camera. All you do is press start and it will automatically rotate, take photos and combine the photos to create a 360-degree image.
The turntable also comes with a halo-edge light in the back to help create a seamless background. The brightness of the light can be controlled with the Foldio360 app.
Foldio recently updated its Foldio360 app with new interactive features to help create easy 360-degree images. Some of these features include a background filter, resolution setting, photo editing and radar that helps move the object to the center of the frame. If you are looking to just take a static image, all these features can be used without the Foldio smart turntable.
Once you have taken your photos in the Foldio360 app, they can be exported and saved to your phone’s photo gallery in jpeg, gif, or MP4 format. When you upload an image that has been taken in the Foldio360 app, you have the option to share your 360° images on Orangemonkie's SPINZAM platform.
