The Salt Flats offer one of the most unique and stunning locations for a portrait workshop. The lighting at dusk is incredible! We have a terrific group of models joining us during our three shooting sessions, including Miss Utah Robin Towel. Schedule

Session 1 - Dusk on the Salt Flats - Friday, June 21st @ 4:30 pm
Experience dusk on the salt flats! The lighting you have never seen before, with amazing warm light reflecting off the white salt.

Dinner & discussion - Friday, June 21 Wendover NV  @ 8:00 pm

Session 2 - Morning on the Salt Flats - Saturday, June 22nd @ 8:00 am
During this session, you will be challenging yourself with dramatic light as well as fun story building scenes.

Lunch and photo critique - Saturday, June 22nd @ 12:00 pm Wendover NV

Session 3 - Back to the flats 4:00 pm
We take everything we learned during our previous sessions and put it all into practice for one final shoot.

Details:

The Bonneville Salt Flats are located on the Border of Nevada and Utah. We will be arriving early Friday afternoon, June 21st and leaving the morning of Sunday, June 22. 

Lodging - Lodging is not included in your registration fee. There are a number of lodging choices in the border town of Wendover NV/UT. The Chopstick Guys will be staying at the Best Western Plus, Wendover UT.

Meals - Meals are not included in your registration fee. We plan on eating meals together giving us a chance to talk shop throughout the day. Wendover has a number of dining choices.

Travel - If local to the UT area feel free to travel in and meet the group for the sessions and meals or book a room at one of the lodging choices. For those traveling from outside the local area, your best bet is to drive into Wendover. It takes approximately 7.5 hours from the Sacramento area. If you chose to fly into Salt Lake you will need to budget about 2.5 hours to get to Wendover.
