The Speakers:

Sandra Pearce
"The Art of Painting in Photoshop"

Painting in Photoshop is an alternative for you to paint beautiful art pieces rather than attempting to learn a new program. I took many classes from the best Corel Painting instructors in the business. When I did find time to open and actually paint in Painter, I found I had forgotten most of what I had been taught. Photoshop is where we feel comfortable and are familiar with the tools. The learning curve is drastically decreased. I decided to teach myself to paint using what I knew and loved, Photoshop.

Jeff Dachowski
"Selling for Success"

Join Jeff for this program designed to give simple, practical, techniques to increase your sales and improve the bottom line. Topics include using proper verbiage to encourage larger sales and client confidence, setting goals to focus your efforts and control your time, and outsourcing appropriate tasks to allow for network marketing.

Tony Corbell
"Between Light and Shadow"

Understanding and controlling light quality are at the core of all of Tony’s presentations. Attendees will learn how to see a unique perspective and not be afraid to push the limits of their experience and talents. Corbell will discuss all types of lighting and its tools in depth but will concentrate on studio lighting. Lighting applications include additive, subtractive, reflective and transmission. Each combination of tools and applications will be shown and discussed in detail. Tony will discuss the importance of control in the digital capture and how a few seconds of extra time spent at the time of capture can save hours in post-production. Tony always spends time discussing Light Quality as well as Light Quantity and how Light Direction plays a significant role in the resulting mood of an image.

Bryan Welsh
"The Environmental Business Portrait - Beyond the Headshot"

Come learn from Commercial Portrait Photographer Bryan Welsh as he shares his program on how to take your business portraits to another level. As the industry changed so did Bryan’s photography business. Once primarily known as Wedding and H.S. Senior photographer he made the transition into a Business and Family photographer. This workshop will cover how to market and become the go-to business branding photographer in your area. Bryan will also have a lighting demonstration so you can see this style of photography in action. Come learn: Marketing & Sales, Gear & how to prepare, how to shoot tethered, location consideration, and see session demonstration. If you have considered breaking into the business photography market or are looking for new ways to establish your business brand this class will be just what you need.

Maria Sampaio
"Profitable Children's Events and High Sales Averages"

Let Maria Sampaio show you how she gets people in the studio, and how she makes money! Maria will discuss low entry events and how she converts them to great sales and her Marketing strategies with other business owners! It’s important to note that Maria just sold her successful studio in Pittsburgh PA of 11 years (in Dec 2018) and moved across the country to Charleston, SC and immediately opened her studio and started making money. If anyone can discuss Marketing and getting people in the door fast - it's her. Join Maria to hear about her profitable children's events marketing strategies!
