Biography:
Heather Pickett is Salt Lake City’s award winning newborn photographer. She began her photography career in 2011 and has since become the nation’s first Certified Professional Photographer to be certified on a purely newborn portfolio. Heather has earned recognition both locally and nationally during print competition including IPPA's Rookie of the Year and two national loan titles, “The Balancing Act” and “Intertwined Hearts.”
Heather has learned bits and pieces of her photography skill set from a handful of incredibly talented photographers including Drake Busath at Busath Photography, Kirsten Mackey of Son Kissed Photography, Rachel Vanoven, Julia Kelleher, and Emily Lucarz. In addition to her career in photography, Heather is an accomplished violinist, a pediatric ICU nurse, and a mother of four. Her newborn studio allows her to get her fill of newborn-goodness while sparing her the sleepless nights.
