The Manfrotto 528XB 1-Stage Heavy Duty 100mm Bowl Video Tripod is a single-stage tripod with a single-tube leg structure and a 110lb. load capacity, making it an ideal location tripod. The Manfrotto 528XB's tubes are made of sturdy stainless steel, allowing it to bear heavy loads, as well as aluminum, keeping the tripod's weight to a minimum. The 528XB has a fully adjustable leg spread while incorporating a 30° locked position for faster set up and greater strength.
The Manfrotto 528XB Tripod uses a 100mm bowl that is compatible with industry-standard half-ball video heads to assist you in getting level and accurate panoramic shots. The included claw ball allows you to use it with heads not equipped with a half ball. The 528XB includes a versatile mid-level spreader, which has telescopic ''ratchet'' braces that click into place in each of the preset positions for faster deployment. Each brace can be individually set, allowing each tripod leg to be separately positioned.
