Join Pictureline and Profoto for a day of hands-on lighting. Profoto will be here from 12:00 - 5:00pm to answer questions and to show the new A1 flash unit.
Our workshop, from 3:00 - 5:00pm, will have 2 different scenarios where you'll lean how to get that natural light look with flash and a few simple light modifiers. You'll see for yourself how easy it is to use on-camera and off-camera flash.
Scenario 1. Using on-camera flash with natural light. We will cover the basics of on camera flash and how to use it enhance your natural light photos.
Scenario 2. Using off camera flash (OCF) with natural light portraits. You'll see how to use OCF to enhance your natural light photos. We'll also talk about how to use flash to get a natural light look when the natural light is not great. You'll learn how to choose the right modifiers to give you a natural light look, depending on whether you need a softer or harder light to match the existing lighting conditions.

What do you need to bring: Your camera and a great portrait lens (examples: 50mm, 85mm, 24-105mm).
