RECAP:

We had a fantastic time with D'Ann Boal and Profoto Rep, Eric. D'Ann taught the class how to creatively utilize Profoto lights, clic softboxes and gels in order to dramatize a basic photoshoot set up. We brought in two models for different shooting bays in order to show multiple light set ups and how to best utilize Profoto gear to maximize creative potential. D'Ann specializes in dreamy feminine portraiture, so she demonstrated to the class what settings to use and how seamless Profoto's technology truly is. Each attendee walked away with stunning images and newfound knowledge thanks to D'Ann and Eric.

Pictureline is pleased to welcome Profoto Legend of Light D'Ann Boal for this Ethereal Lighting Techniques workshop!

In this workshop, D'Ann will teach you how to create dreamy, ethereal lighting for fine art portraiture. D'Ann will demonstrate two to three light setups that will enhance and dramatize your storytelling. From her favorite lights to modifiers, she will walk you through some of her favorite light setups.

There will be a 1-hour lecture followed by an 1.5-hour hands-on workshop featuring two shooting bays with models. This workshop is limited to 25 attendees.
