The Fujifilm 18mm f/2.0 XF R Lens is a compact and lightweight "pancake" wide-angle lens designed specifically for the Fujifilm X-Pro1 and X-E1 cameras.
The Fujifilm 18mm f/2.0 XF R Lens is designed to take advantage of the X-Pro1's mirrorless design, with the rear element of the lens placed as closely to the sensor as possible, minimizing back focus distance. The final element, positioned as closely to the sensor as possible, makes the incidence angle of light reaching the sensor smaller and reduces vignetting and color shading, while helping to keep the lens's overall size small. The lens includes a metal barrel and Aspheric and ED elements to combat field curvature and chromatic aberration. Its bright f/2.0 aperture is great for shooting in low light and provides stunning out-of-focus backgrounds.
