Last week, Canon released several firmware updates for the following cameras: EOS-1D X, EOS-1D C and the EOS-5D Mark III.
The latest release incorporates the following improvements and fixes for the 1D X and the 1D C:
- Improves the AF controllability when shooting in Live View with a fixed-focal length or zoom wide-angle lens.
- Fixes an issue when shooting long exposures of several minutes, vertical lines appear on the right edge of the photos.
- Fixes an issue when Auto Exposure Bracketing (AEB) may not perform as intended while shooting in continuous mode and when the shutter speed is longer than 1 second.
- Improves the reliability of the control mechanism for the Picture Style Auto setting.
- Fixes an issue of the electronic level indicator does not work properly.
- Fixes an issue when using the "Save and read camera settings" function, the color space data that is selected in "Custom shooting mode (C1-C3)" is not saved.
- Corrects some incorrect indications on the "English" and "Russian" menu screens.
