The Spark features a unique selective focus optic and a tilting lens body, allowing the aspiring enthusiast photographer to capture creative images in-camera that have a sharp sweet spot of focus, surrounded by blur. Sounds like your typical creative lens from Lensbaby, right? Sort of, except with the Spark you bend, squeeze and stretch the lens to focus your shot.
Using the Spark is literally as easy as 1, 2, 3. Replace your normal lens with the Spark and set your camera to Manual "M" Mode. To focus, point your lens and squeeze! For closer items, give a small squeeze or a hard squeeze for farther-away items. Once you've found your sweet spot, bend the lens side to side to create the gradually increasing blur that makes the Spark such a fun lens to use!
Available in Canon EF and Nikon F mounts, the Spark is compatible with most Lensbaby Optic Swap System and all Lensbaby 37mm threaded accessory lenses. The Spark uses a 50mm focal length and a fixed f/5.6 aperture. Made from a lightweight, all-plastic material, the optical lens is a multi-coated glass doublet ensuring you the cleanest images possible.
